(DTS) is developing and implementing Andon system (signal board) to monitor the shop floor unplanned equipment & process stops due to quality, maintenance, raw material and people related problems that often causes productivity loses and customer dissatisfaction. The goal is to determine this kind of problems in the real time and immediately fix them. This is a part of DTS ongoing lean manufacturing initiatives.
