Atlantech will attempt to develop fish processing plant effluent treatment and reuse technology that will result in consistently achieving potable water quality standards - a CFIA requirement. The technological uncertainties to be overcome comprise of determining whether water reuse in fish processing plants can be achieved (technically & cost effectively) and what process design(s) are required to achieve it.
