Description:
Wire Harness manufacturing is a very labour intensive process and tends to require minimum wage workers to be cost competitive. The goal of this project is to critically examine current industry techniques looking for opportunities to increase labour efficiency. The underlying theme will be focused on computer and automation techniques that can help the workers be more productive. The desired outcome is to develop a process that yields a price competitive product that can afford to pay workers a fair living wage.
