Description:
Development of a high-speed toaster using fast response carbon infrared heating emitters. The emitters are highly efficient with fast response times which can allow on demand heating as opposed to the industry standard “always on” heating elements, due to slow response times. Further to this innovation, the project is expected to take toasting to a new level by incorporating “smart” technology such as vision systems to detect product type and possibly provide automatic calibration.
