Description:
The project will employ a youth candidate in support of optimizing the production of fresh hepatocytes isolated from chimeric mice with humanized liver.
Proposed candidate will support the PXB-cell production. That includes hands on hepatocyte isolations and preparations of PXB-cells.
Proposed candidate will be provided with full training in all procedures related to cell isolation.
Proposed candidate will be provided with training in chimeric mouse transplantations.
Proposed candidate will perform all cell isolations procedures as well as cell plating and mouse transplants.
Proposed candidate will perform cells stability measurements.
