Description:
Wingmate is an event-driven application - a user completes an action which in turn triggers events automatically. Due to this nature, Wingmate should use an event-driven design architecture. In this project, Wingmate will use the Kafka technology to build the Wingmate Lifecycle system - a system that allows services to subscribe to events and trigger new events when they occur. Using our new lifecycle system as well as Apache Cassandra and Websockets, we will create the Team Feed - a communication tool styled to be a social media-like feed of all the events that occurred in a companies' Wingmate instance.
