Description:
As part of the international consortium project “Eurostars 2521 NextPHAse”, this project will focus on producing and utilizing novel PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate) building blocks from organic waste streams, to develop novel bioplastic resin formulations and high value applications. These formulations will replicate the properties of commonly used petroleum plastics and will be drop-in solutions for existing plastic manufacturing facilities. Manufacturing high value applications from waste derived PHA biopolymers will contribute to a circular and bio-based economy.
