The objective of this new project is to improve the Picketa platform by integrating it with third-party APIs to provide users with easy access to existing agricultural data such as field boundaries and satellite imagery. The integration will enhance the nutrient spatial variability maps and streamline the field creation process, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for users. Additionally, the project involves standardizing database entries to comply with LEAF standards and upgrading the map display system to the Google Maps API for better quality satellite tiles. These improvements will significantly enhance the usability, representativeness, and quality of the Picketa platform, making it more competitive on a global scale.
