Description:
Aruna’s goal is revolutionizing menstrual products, making them better for the body and the planet. To do that we will develop a local micro-manufacturing facility in Nova Scotia, that will encompass fiber extraction, non-woven development, and pad conversion. This project will allow Aruna to move from small lab scale equipment, into a pilot scale – where we can research, develop and test larger scale technology and demonstrate the feasibility of local micro-manufacturing of compostable menstrual products.
