Description:
Acrolab Ltd is a heatpipe manufacturer. There has been an increasing demand for high temperature heatpipes for several industrial applications from transportation/automotive to the energy sector. Standard water charged heatpipes operate at temperatures up to 250C with high temperature heatpipes operating in the range of 600C-800C. In order to manufacture heatpipes that can operate at these temperatures a significant work is required to identify, analyze and experiment with several materials to determine their suitability and compatibility for use in different operational environments. The work undertaken for this project will improve Acrolab's technical expertise, improve productivity as well as develop a new product for the company.
