Description:
Development of a next-generation solar wing for a 24.9 kg fixed-wing RPAS to achieve multi-day endurance. The project focuses on the structural integration of PV cells directly into the composite wing during construction. This method increases the total solar array surface area by 50% compared to a post-installed method for the same airfoil. These improvements significantly increase the capability of Superwake's SW117 RPAS.
