Description:
The presented research program aims at developing water soluble derivatives of cannabinoids and their stable product formulations for health and medicinal applications. London Research and Pharmaceuticals Corporation (LRPC) developed a strategy to optimize the physicochemical and pharmacological properties of cannabinoids via providing new methods to convert cannabinoids (CBD) into fully soluble and stable products (Patent # US62/970,764) that are deliberately designed to impart specific properties that will be readily translated into nutraceuticals + pharmaceuticals and strengthen the health + wellness cannabis market where no fully soluble cannabinoids are known. The proposed project aims at scaling up the synthesis process and designing a validated manufacturing process of LRPC-soluble CBD. This is a major discovery with wide-reaching global implications including significant revenue potential across several multi-billion-dollar industries where LRPC would be first to market.
