Description:
The Invention to Innovation (i2I) for SMEs CtO will develop the innovation skills and entrepreneurial mindset of pivotal researchers/scientists/engineers within select BC SMEs, with a focus on the life sciences, cleantech and deep tech industry sectors. The CtO will educate and mentor the respective technical employee in developing a commercialization strategy for new product development within their organization. Customized mentoring will be provided by SFU Innovates in both sector specific learning groups and in one-on-one sessions with Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIRs).
