Description:
The scope of this project will be the quantification of the novel motor performance using both characterization testing of a physical motor and virtual dynamic motor model characterization (on hand). Identified limitations in the current stator design, power electronics, and control algorithm will be improved through redesign such that a physical implementation of the virtual model is produced with matching specifications. Successful outcomes will facilitate scaling the design to higher power and voltage levels in subsequent iterations.
