Description:
As part of the international consortium project “Breakthrough Light-weight Actuators for Zero Emission Automotive and Aerospace Applications”, this project, Germany ZIM Call 11 - BLAZE - Breakthrough Light-weight Actuators for Zero Emission Automotive and Aerospace Applications, will focus on the diverse applications of SMAs and their exceptional properties which hold immense potential for technological advancement in various industries, including automotive and aerospace. To accelerate the commercialization of SMAs, this research project will develop a novel high-temperature shape memory alloy (HTSMA) wire, solidify the manufacturing process, and integrate the HTSMA wire into a standardized SMA actuator working with our German partner, Hoffmann Kunststoffe.
