Description:

This project will provide a Research and Design phase and a Proof of Concept phase to allow BCS to design, build and install new, lighter-weight and custom-sized modular switchboards for the marine (and other) industries. This includes research, design and training in modular switchboard components, Arc Flash factors and ratings and the use of advanced software to support design/build of these complex electrical switchboards. We would also develop and build specialized tools to support the build process allowing us to be as competitive as possible. The purchase of components to support this project is accounted for as this is essential to successfully developing the best designs and built techniques and training our staff.
