Description:

Miinga is a mobile app that provides residents of Nunavut (Nunavummiut) with a directory of mental health and emergency resources available in the territory through a single digital platform. Miinga has been developed for and with Nunavummiut and specifically addresses Northern challenges around mental health service delivery. The app allows users to view descriptions of available mental health and emergency resources, which can then be accessed via an integrated call or texting feature. It includes regularly updated information in both English and Inuktitut for all local, territorial and federal services in each of Nunavut’s 25 communities.
