Past blended learning efficacy research has demonstrated a clear benefit for skill acquisition and retention in domains such as aviation, medicine, and academics; however, no research has specifically examined outcomes related to safety and survival training in the offshore context. Therefore, the primary goal of this project is to continue exploring the effectiveness of blended learning (digital content for theory combined with practical evaluation) in the context of offshore safety and survival training.
