Description:

Multi-active analgesic gels will be developed that include the actives benzocaine, menthol, benzalkonium chloride, and zinc chloride. The gels will also include a novel blend of proteolytic enzymes that will help increase oral healing. As part of the development of this formula, quantitative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods will be developed to characterize the raw materials used in the formula, as well as to quantify each active ingredient in the finished product. After development, appropriate documentation will be prepared and the methods will be validated.
