Description:
The primary objective of TerraVision is to drastically reduce the quantity of imagery data downlinked by Galaxia’s satellites without compromising data integrity. The proposed solution to this problem will use the satellite’s GNSS and star sensor data to estimate the location of the captured image and will then utilize feature matching and localization techniques to algorithmically extract the client’s desired region of interest from the captured imagery.
