RFINE Biomass Solutions Inc. is developing the KAFFIKA technology to efficiently process spent coffee grounds (SCG). This project aims to process 100 kg of SCG in 15 hours, advancing the technology from TRL 2 to TRL 6. Key activities include redesigning the core processing technology, producing and validating prototypes, and integrating the system for commercial readiness. Testing will be conducted by the RFINE engineering at BioFoodTech and in-store pilot locations, ensuring the technology meets operational and environmental standards for scalable deployment.
