Description:

The Project is focused on innovative technologies used to support the integration of drones in our national airspace and builds off of the advances we developed in our previous ADA project. The development of these technologies will significantly enhance air domain awareness (ADA) and decision support capabilities in Accipiter’s existing surveillance products and services and support two emerging applications: (i) flying drones safely beyond visual line of sight through detect and alert (DAA) technology instead of visual observers in order to avoid mid-air collisions of concern to regulators such as Transport Canada and NAV CANADA; and (ii) protecting airports, low-flying crewed aircraft, critical infrastructure, the public and law enforce
