Description:
The firm's main goal is to reduce GHG emissions by optimizing energy usage in buildings and enhancing the integration Virtual Power Plants (VPP). The focus of this software is the development of the VPP software platform which will enable buildings to reduce peak energy loads through Automated Demand Response (ADR) technology. This in turn allows buildings to participate in DR programs to help stabilize the grid and minimize peak-time energy consumption. This project will focus on the development and testing of innovative AI/ML algorithm to monitor and manage building energy environments. These algorithms will be tested within a modern lab environment at NAIT in preparation for commercialization.
