Description:
In this project, we wish to prove that we can achieve 30 Kilobits/s at 750 m of horizontal shallow-water range at an underwater power consumption of 8 Watts or less with up to 4 hydrophone elements. When presented to the offshore inspection market, this new technology will eliminate the requirement for ship-borne inspection. Thus, the size of crew and time spent on boats will be significantly reduced, saving large amounts of money.
