Title:
Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Integration into Battery High Throughput Experimentation
Agreement Number:
1027807
Agreement Value:
$371,250.00
Agreement Date:
Feb 10, 2025 - Mar 31, 2027
Description:
The Project aims to integrate a rapid electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technology into high-throughput experimentation (HTE) systems for battery material development. By combining Recipient's rapid EIS technology with NRC's expertise in HTE, the Project will eliminate signal interference and accelerate the characterization and optimization of cathode materials for nextgeneration batteries. The anticipated outcomes include increased accuracy, reduced development time, cost savings, and strengthened capabilities within Canada's battery supply chain.
Organization:
National Research Council Canada
Expected Results:
In the short term, anticipated outcomes will be strengthened collaborations across industry, academia, and government to support research excellence. In the medium term, anticipated outcomes will be the development of new and potentially disruptive technologies with collaborators. In the long term, find collaborative solutions to public policy challenges and create stronger innovation systems.
