Description:

Solex's parallel plate heat exchangers offer the opportunity to utilize unique "plate offsetting" configurations for enhanced performance. This project will validate and optimize these "plate offsetting" configurations to improve heat transfer and reduce equipment footprint. This will lead to increased efficiency, lower material costs, and broader market applicability, including easier accommodation at brownfield sites. Testing will occur at bench, pilot, and industrial scales. Collaboration with an industrial partner will culminate in on-site validation. This staged approach will de-risk deployment and enable potential first-of-kind purchase orders.
