Smarter Alloys will expand its existing Quality Management System (QMS) to include raw NiTi wire production, ensuring compliance with medical device standards while supporting new product development. By integrating raw wire production into the QMS, we will achieve operational efficiencies through digitalization, yield tracking, and production improvements using 5S principles. This initiative will enable Smarter Alloys to meet growing market demand, accelerate time-to-market for innovative devices, and support ongoing validation of new products. The project will also foster talent development and strengthen Canada’s position in advanced manufacturing technologies.
