Toronto Fresh Food (TFF) is developing an AI-driven smart quality control and shelf-life prediction system to enhance meat processing efficiency and food safety. Using computer vision, machine learning, and IoT sensors, the project will enable real-time defect detection, predictive shelf-life modeling, and automated processing optimization. This innovation aims to reduce waste, improve food quality, and enhance regulatory compliance. Supported by IRAP funding, TFF’s initiative will strengthen Canada’s food manufacturing sector by advancing AI-powered automation and smart monitoring technologies.
