Description:
The Project focuses on strengthening cybersecurity in the construction sector by addressing the risks and vulnerabilities specific to this sector. It will begin with an analysis of the current cyberthreat landscape, followed by the development of a tailored cybersecurity framework designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This framework will include best practices, guidelines and advanced technologies, including advanced machine learning techniques for anomaly detection and secure data sharing. As part of the Project, a cloud-based knowledge exchange platform will be developed to facilitate secure collaboration between industry stakeholders. Prototypes and pilot projects will demonstrate the practical applicability of the solutions. Collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and industry partners ensures alignment with industry needs and regulatory standards.
