Description:
Saltwinds Coffee currently offers a unique coffee product that has been infused with ocean air. This treatment simulates the conditions that coffee would have been exposed to when being shipping in wooden sailing boats in the 1700s and 1800s. This ocean air infused coffee is extremely popular and often sells faster than it can be produced. The infusion process is currently done in a batch method which limits scale and generates variability. The company wishes to now develop a scalable, continuous production method that generates a product of the same or increased quality and offers the potential to increase production speed.
