As part of the Japan Corporate Co-Innovation Program, the project “Unlocking New Potential in Wastewater Treatment” will focus on completing a proof of concept that combines the firm's alkalinity extraction and ocean carbon removal technology with the foreign partner's wastewater engineering expertise and technology in order to demonstrate safe, community-engaged ocean-based carbon removal using municipal fly ash.
