The Haliburton Forest Biochar Research & Development project will directly improve plant capacity through process optimization and the introduction of a new feedstock. This project will indirectly support the broader expansion of Haliburton Forest Biochar to achieve targeted overall plant capacity and targeted overall plant consumption of forest biomass by 2027. Theses research and development activities will also contribute to the development of new biochar products and the scale required to commercialize them.
