Description:
BFI Energy Group Inc. is launching a one-year extension of its previous IRAP-funded initiative under the new title “Seismic Data Resolution Enhancement using AI.” This phase builds on our earlier success in AI-based bandwidth improvement by shifting focus to real-world application and commercialization. We will rigorously test and validate our AI algorithms using large-scale, real 2D and 3D seismic datasets from diverse geological environments, ensuring robustness, scalability, and generalizability. Enhancements will include adapting the models for big data processing, optimizing performance for large seismic volumes, and integrating uncertainty quantification and hybrid AI techniques to further refine resolution capabilities.
