Eureka Xecs Cluster Project - 2022011 - SafeTrucks, led by the Finnish Meteorological Institute (Finland). OPAL-RT is contributing to the consortium by developing simulation and control tools to improve the safety and efficiency of trucks and articulated vehicles. Its involvement focuses on the project’s digital architecture, vehicle dynamics simulation, embedded communication systems, and the development of a digital twin. By integrating SIL, HIL, and DIL technologies, OPAL-RT enables complex scenarios to be tested and validated in a virtual environment, thereby promoting innovation in intelligent and safe transportation.
