Description:

Continuing in the development of a fully automated exploration drill for the mineral exploration market, the firm aims to deliver automated rod-handlers, rod sloops and wirelines to compliment its recently developed automated mast features. In the race to deliver a fully automated rig, the focus now shifts to the equipment around the drill to create a truly hands free solution. Additionally, building upon the firm's recently developed drilling control system, it is necessary to develop a robust algorithm which precisely calculates the depth of the drill bit real time, thereby enhancing the quality and correlation of data captured apart from the use of the firm's existing data logging system.
