This project is designed to develop and validate a commercially viable seaweed-based biostimulant through:
- growing and processing of the seaweed,
- efficacy testing of the extracts in commercial and scientific applications, and
- undertaking market research.
The overall goals are to enable commercialization of a high-quality seaweed biostimulant sourced from Newfoundland and to establish a replicable business model that supports coastal economic development and environmental sustainability.
