Description:

Data volume and complexity is increasing with the increased role of sustainability, and the impacts and multiplier effects of integrated home design. The objective of this six month assignment is to engage a youth developer as part of a broader team to implement an AI scraper that collects relevant data for building products, and convert them to structured data to be used for further more effective AI analysis. The project will explore scraper technologies and available API's, propose a data structure, use AI to convert unstructured to structured data, create a working web interface and validate end-to-end flow. Data inputs could originate from integrated design, sustainability, innovations, trends, supply chain & buyer sentiments.

The purpose of IRAP’s Youth Employment Program is to assist in increasing the supply of highly qualified people, promoting the benefits of advanced studies, demonstrating federal leadership by investing in the skills required to meet the needs of the knowledge economy and facilitating the transition of highly skilled young people to a rapidly changing labour market.
