Description:
The GIST is a women-operated sports media brand, with a community of over 1 million fans who have been underserved by traditional sports media. Our community spans many channels, including multiple newsletters, job board, contests, games, podcast, social media, e-commerce, membership, and live events. Currently, user data is siloed within the different channels, and our pipeline for storing and analyzing data is almost entirely centered around our newsletters. The goal of this project is to create a unified profile for our users and data team, and rework the data pipeline to aggregate and report on user activity. This will give us a more detailed and holistic view of who our users are via their behaviors and preferences.
