Description:
“As part of the international consortium project “CIIP - UK Multisector - SALUS - Sustainable Autonomous Long-Endurance Uncrewed Systems”, this project will advance safe and scalable beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations for uncrewed aerial systems. Canadian UAVs will focus on integrating its Sparrowhawk radar-based detect-and-avoid system into long-endurance UAV platforms, conducting field trials, and validating performance against regulatory standards. The goal is to enable sustainable offshore monitoring, industrial inspections, and regional connectivity applications. The project will deliver validated demonstrations, regulator engagement, and commercialization pathways across Canada and the UK.
