Modern engineering workflows are complex, involving large 3D models, technical documents, and structured data. Current tools demand manual effort and expertise to extract data and build models. Our vision is to develop a Text-to-3D AI Assistant that lets engineers interact with models and documents using natural language. This assistant will convert text into structured 3D outputs, reducing setup time, improving accuracy, and making advanced tools more accessible. This proposal details our plan to build the first intelligent Text-to-3D assistant for Integrated Design Suite (IDS), using AI-driven data extraction, reasoning, and natural language processing to automate key workflows.
