Title:
Development of a high efficiency Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) for close coupling furnace/air handler installations
Agreement Number:
1039758
Agreement Value:
$97,425.00
Agreement Date:
Nov 1, 2025 - Nov 30, 2026
Description:
A niche market for Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) that install directly to furnaces or air handlers has been established in several key markets in the United States. The market size is not large enough for the top ERV manufacturers to participate and the one firm who has been producing the product cannot meet the current minimum requirements for sensible recovery efficiency (SRE) and fan effacacy. This project would use experimental development and Nu-Air's IP to evaluate if our existing procut offering can be modified to fill the market need.
