Description:
This project will conduct a technical evaluation of company's disaggregated optical Ethernet switching architecture, for defence-relevant applications, such as mobile command posts, deployable data centres, and space-based systems. Sovereign distributed and scalable switching technologies are essential to achieve the modernization of modern defence infrastructure outlined in Canada’s Department of National Defence Departmental and NATO’s Science for Peace and Security Key Priorities. As a disaggregated switching fabric architecture, the technology can enhance resilience by removing centralized bottlenecks and single points of failure for tactical communications and platform-level networking environments.
