Description:
Plantae uses a unique refining technology that efficiently refines plant biomass. This process produces a high surface area oilseed hemp bast fibre that is showing direct replacement value for cotton linters in the production of Nitrocellulose as part of Canada’s National Defence Strategy. Validation of this potential has already occurred. The purpose of this project is to optimize Plantae oilseed bast feedstock as a direct replacement for cotton linters.
