This project aims to advance the Sparrowhawk Radar system by enhancing its security features and streamlining its deployment process, making it suitable for dual-use applications in both commercial and defence sectors. The Sparrowhawk Radar is currently commercially available and can be deployed as a single installation or part of a network of installations to reduce blind spots and increase confidence in airspace monitoring. As interest from Canadian defence customers grows, establishing a secure and efficient network of Sparrowhawk systems has become paramount.
