Description:

Innovotech Labs Corporation is proposing a research and development project to advance high-throughput laboratory assays for evaluating antimicrobial performance and infection risks associated with medical devices. The project will refine a rapid antimicrobial screening assay, develop tissue-based models that better reflect clinical conditions, and create a flow-based testing system that mimics real-world use of medical devices. These innovations will improve the reliability and clinical relevance of pre-clinical testing, support regulatory submissions, reduce reliance on animal testing, and strengthen Canada’s medical device and life-sciences innovation ecosystem.
