Description:
The Health Technology Assessment Support for SMEs aims to provide health technology assessment and guidance to SMEs. This project will help SMEs understand in quantified terms, the potential value of their new products/technologies to healthcare payers and insurers, commercial viability, market access opportunity, risks, and potential return on investment. It will undertake a quantitative assessment of the clinical and economic outcomes that might be achieved with the new product, and a determination of whether a healthcare payer will reimburse the product at a price sufficient to generate a return on investment. This will assist in strategic decision making that will impact the strategies used in the product life cycle management.
