Description:
SMARTBUILD is initiating a structured workforce wellness project to address a documented and underserved gap in the North American construction industry: the physical, psychological, and nutritional health of frontline workers. Construction workers experience disproportionately high rates of musculoskeletal injury, heat-related illness, fatigue, and mental health challenges, including elevated rates of suicide compared to the national average. Despite this, the majority of small and medium-sized construction firms lack the resources, frameworks, or expertise to implement effective wellness programs at the site level.
