Description:
The PPSU PEX Fittings Project will establish domestic manufacturing of high-performance plumbing fittings currently sourced primarily from overseas suppliers. Ingersoll Products Inc. will develop and produce a line of PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) PEX fittings designed for potable water systems in residential and commercial construction. The project includes tooling development, material validation, automation integration, and certification testing to meet NSF standards for drinking water components. By manufacturing these fittings in Ontario, the project will strengthen North American supply chains, reduce reliance on imported products, and create skilled manufacturing and technical jobs.
