LCO Technologies is developing a high-powered, high-pressure, energy-efficient instrument air compressor and vapour recovery unit (VRU) for large-scale and remote oil and gas operations. Building on the proven CROSSFIRE platform, the project aims to deliver a compact, commercial-ready system with improved reliability, reduced maintenance, and up to 30% greater energy efficiency than current market alternatives. The technology is intended to reduce emissions, lower operating costs, and fill a market gap between small-scale and traditional rotary compressor systems while supporting safer and more sustainable field operations.
