Rane Pharmaceutical is developing novel small molecule therapy to treat drug resistant Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). Over 30,000 Canadians are diagnosed annually with this type of lung cancer. Conventional treatments face drug resistance which remains a major barrier with no current secondary options. Having validated novel compounds, Firm intends to develop a therapeutic that addresses a massive unmet need of cancer drug resistance.
